Welcome to our repository of resources related to the portfolio of materials, products and services offered by AviationEU Group of Companies.

We are often asked by our customers to assist them by recommending materials, parts or products suitable for their needs regarding their intended aviation or industrial applications. Our standard reply is that the best goods are those which cover the requirements of their intended applications at a meaningful price. We also believe that our customers are intelligent people, know better their needs and therefore they are the best to decide when they are well informed on available options in the market. However, customer awareness of these options should not always be taken for granted, and this is where our Resource Repository aims to help.

In many cases, customer needs can be covered by more than one products offered as OEM parts or parts of our own labelled (AVIATIONEU NEW ERA) product lines, or both. For example, fasteners and many other materials/products made by different manufacturers, conform to certain standards/specifications, and  in many cases, a specific fastener complying with the requirements of one standard is equivalent to one of a different standard. Correlation tables between standards are available and used to identify potential options. In addition, standards used in the past have been superseded by newer ones, but part numbers of older standards are still used in RFQs instead of those of their replacing standards. Availability and/or price are yet other issues frequently appearing in inquired parts. Alternative quality parts or products conforming to the same standard can sometimes be supplied at a lower price from existing inventories in lieu of  those branded by leading manufacturers, which are usually higher priced and/or requiring significant lead time for delivery.

Limited content related to our offered portfolio of materials and products is included as part of their respective presentations in our Web Platform for Supplies (shop.aviationeu.supplies) while the greatest part (such as our articles, guides, comparison of standards and other documentation) has been re-located to our AviationEU Resource Repository.

Our Resource Repository, operated by AviationEU Training Systems & Services (AviationEU TS&S) functions as our centralized electronic library where various types of digital assets are collected, stored, managed and shared. Short articles, guides,reviews of standards and other media content, based on documentation from manufacturers and other published content, are prepared by AviationEU team to support our clients, prospective buyers or others in their search and familiarization with  materials & products and their integrated technologies. Such information is equally useful for different users, from procurement specialists, project co-ordinators, and design enginners, to MRO mechanics, or academics.

Although resources in our Repository are continuously increased and updated, they cannot be by any means exhaustive of what is available in the market or what can be offered by AviationEU Group due to the number of manufacturers/suppliers, the number and variety of offered materials and products, those those newly launched and others discontinued, and so on.

Access to these resources is available free of charge to our active(*) customers & on a subscription basis to all others.
(*) Active customers are those who have placed and paid for at least an order during the last 12 months from current date.

Key Features of AviationEU Resource Repository are outlined below.
- Rich digital content for different purposes including teaching/learning and informational,
- Listed content can be used as created or adapted/re-used for different customer needs,
- Suitable for different user categories (from procurement specialists, and project coordinators in aviation & industrial companies to teaching & research personnel in academic/research institutes or teams preparing bids for public tenders),
- Taxonomy terms are used to classify the content enablling its fast search and easy association with different user groups (e.g. developing content as the learning material for students, sharing content with different sub-groups, administering content in support of meetings or workshops addressing specific purposes, and so on),
- Customised subscription charges based on single or multiple-tier subscription content access and the required number of users. Customers benefit from low subscription charges if they select an one-user account and only specific subjects from our content collections. They can subscribe for specific product categories (e.g. metals, fasteners, ...) selecting between available taxonomy terms to have access to the respective resources.
